Plans underway for biggest Culture Night yet

This year’s Galway Culture Night on Friday 21 September is shaping up to be biggest yet, as the celebrations extend beyond the city to all over County Galway.

Culture Night is an annual event in towns and cities all overIrelandthat celebrates culture, creativity and the arts. Exciting and unique events take place on culture night, such as street performances, music and dance sessions, multicultural celebrations, exhibitions, film screenings and cultural trails, to name only a few. Everything is free of charge to the public.

Galway City Council and Galway County Council will be working together to produce a jam-packed Culture Night programme of events. Some funding for events is available as the councils have received support from the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.
