John Faulkner has been a major presence in Galway music circles for many years now.
He learned his trade wih the legendary songwriter Ewan McColl and went on to write chart topping songs and iconic television theme tunes before coming to Galway as a composer, singer, producer and arranger with the Dolores Keane Band, Arcady, De Danann and many others.
There are few musicians alive who know more about the history of folk and traditional music than John Faulkner, who loves to sing the songs and tell their stories, and will do exclusively for us in Galway this Saturday..
Presented by Galway City Arts Office and Galway City Museum the concert is at 3.00pm in the museum. It will last an hour and admission is free. All are welcome!
