Dubray: Robert Muchamore will celebrate the release of his new book, Guardian Angel

On Thursday, September 13 at 4pm, Dubray Books Galway branch at 4 Shop Street will play host to a very special author event. Robert Muchamore, award winning writer of the popular CHERUB series for young adults will be in the shop to sign copies of his books and meet his loyal fans. This is part of Robert Muchamore’s very first Irish tour, celebrating the release of his new book, Guardian Angel, the second book in the new CHERUB series.

What is CHERUB? During World War II, a spy named Charles Henderson worked among the French Resistance to combat the Germans occupying their land. Many of the most useful operatives were children and teenagers. After returning home, Henderson used what he had learned to train twenty boys for work on undercover operations. While Henderson died in 1946, the organisation he founded, code-named CHERUB, has thrived with more than 250 agents, all aged 17 and under. The reason for its existence remains the same: no one ever suspects that children are spying on them. We hope that you take this rare chance to meet one of the most popular writers of young adult fiction today. Join us to meet Robert Muchamore!
