Moonfish rave reviews at this years Dublin Fringe. Tromluí Phinocchio/ Pinocchio – a Nightmare is the dark and sometimes disturbing story of a young boy’s journey through a dangerous adult world. Pinocchio has the urge to rebel, to run away, to be impetuous, to break with convention, to do ‘whatever I want, whenever I want’. The result is a roller-coaster ride through a magical and often sinister world. Using live sound-effects, bare-bones set, dance, shadow puppetry and song. Moonfish create a production that pulses with a wild frenetic energy, teetering on the edge of nightmares. The show is performed in a mixture of Irish and English, and is accessible to anyone, whether they understand Irish or not.
